Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity partnered with Outernet London to launch The Big Build Adventure — a free, large-scale interactive experience created to raise awareness and funds for the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Across Outernet’s four-storey immersive screens, the space was transformed into a vibrant, motion-tracked virtual Paint Workshop. Visitors were invited to paint the digital walls of the future cancer centre using gesture-controlled tools such as rollers and brushes, turning charitable support into a playful, creative act.

The experience also featured interactive games including Toolbox Tidy and Spot it. Build it. Beat it., alongside a ‘Site Selfie’ station where guests could capture photos and appear live on the big screen. Visitors were encouraged to “buy a brick,” directly contributing to the construction of the hospital’s most ambitious project to date.

As Creative Lead for Outernet, I provided overall creative and art direction, leading the Illustrator, Animators, App Design, and Creative Technology teams to deliver a cohesive, joyful, and purpose-driven experience at scale.
